Ms. Bolor-erdene, the Chairwoman of the CITA, met the U.S. Embassy officials including Mr. Benjamin Le Roy, First Secretary, and Mr. Michael Richmond, Senior Expert on Trade.
Ms. Bolor-Erdene spoke briefly of the current activities of CITA. During the meeting, a Forum which will be held during ICT EXPO-2020 in October was discussed in detail. Ms. Bolor-Erdene also noted that a survey on cybersecurity conducted by DAI company (USA) is expected to be presented during the Forum.
The Chairwoman introduced on “E-Mongolia Integrated Digital System” project which aims to integrate public services into a single platform. When the system is launched, Mongolian citizens are expected to receive 181 public services through a mobile application and online website.
On the other hand, the U.S. Embassy officials underlined the importance of the U.S.-Mongolia Transparency Agreement, while stating their pleasure to witness a positive development towards delivering public services online. They also expressed their willingness to expand bilateral cooperation in the area of ICT between the two countries.
