The meeting discussed the current situations of E-Mongolia, an integrated e-service system, and preparations for the establishment of the Ministry of e-Development. So far, the government is providing 182 public services online to citizens, businesses, and organizations through www. e-Mongolia. mn and this year it will increase to 592.
Preparations are underway to establish a Ministry of e-Development in order to become an e-nation, intensify e-transition and streamline the civil service. “E-Nation” is planning to carry out in order to digitalize government work and services as well as its efficient use, improve e-education of citizens, initiate the development of the digital economy, increase information technology-based products and services and ensure information security of the country. “Digital Literacy” campaign will be implemented as part of this comprehensive work. This will increase access to public services, provide citizens with uninterrupted access to e-services, and save time and money. The Minister of Education and Science and the Chairwoman of the Communications and Information Technology Authority have been instructed to cooperate on the implementation of this nationwide campaign.
