Thank you for visiting the official page of the Communications and Information Technology Authority.

Communications and Information Technology Authority, the regulatory agency of the Government of Mongolia, develops regulations and policies on space technology, communications, information technology, post, broadcasting, innovation, information security, and e-government as well as determines development strategies of the sector and provides policy guidance.

We set a goal to develop ICT as one of the priority economic sectors through investing in science, technology, and innovation to improve international competitiveness. This goal is included in the “Vision-2050” Long-Term Development Policy of Mongolia and Action Plan of the Government 2021-2024.  In this context, we are working to strengthen a digital economy by disseminating advances in communications and information technology, developing knowledge-intensive high-tech industries, and increasing competitiveness. As the basis of this work, E-Mongolia, an integrated e-service system, was introduced to the public in 2020. We are also planning to introduce the 5G the advanced next-generation technology nationwide by 2023.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of the modern telecommunications sector in Mongolia. At the beginning of a new history, we are working to achieve six major strategic goals for the next four years: digital infrastructure, e-government, information security, digital literacy, innovation, and the accelerator of national development.

Thank you for your kind consideration and support toward us.
